Whether you’re happily married, or out on the dating scene, Valentine’s plans can become a bit on the cringe worthy side, let’s admit it! Who wants to sit in an awkward restaurant full of quiet couples hoping to look as in-love as they’ve been told to be? So here at Parcel we prefer the Galentine’s approach. Grab your best girls for a night in, and celebrate your real soulmates! All imagery and further inspiration can be found on our 'Be my Valentine' Pinterest board.
Mini bouquets
Just because we’re fighting the tradition of the lovers-only-Valentine’s, it doesn’t mean we have anything against the age old classic of a bunch of flowers! Making up a mini bunch of roses for your girlfriends is a cute way to welcome them when they arrive. Simply break up a larger bunch (supermarket superheroes will work just fine!) and use some wrapping paper or newspaper tied with a little string or ribbon for that artisan look.

Girls on film
There will be many a list out now telling us all the romantic films we should be watching on Valentine’s night, but we’ve been there and done that (Pretty Woman will always have its place). But for our Galentine’s party, it’s all about the girls. Here are our top picks of boss lady films to remind you why your besties are your VIPs...
Beaches
The first wives club
Romy & Michelles’ high school reunion
Calendar girls
Frances Ha
Thelma and Louise
Clueless
Crossroads... if you and your girls aren’t full out singing along with Britney to ‘I’m not a girl’ then, well, you need new friends.
